In the event of a preliminary positive result using the HIV Home Test Kit, a confirmatory test must be conducted. Client will be required to visit participating organization’s offices and/or allow participating organization’s staff to visit a mutually agreed upon location to perform a confirmatory test by blood draw. The blood sample collected will be submitted to the State of Connecticut Public Health Laboratory for further testing to confirm HIV infection. Participating organization will connect you to care, partner services and prevention services.
