Medication Treatment Adherence Nursing

Medication Treatment Adherence Nursing (MTA) services are available to our clients to assist with HIV medication management. A Registered Nurse will perform a complete medication treatment assessment to determine your individual medication management needs. 

The Registered Nurse will provide individual one-on-one counseling to identify the barriers that prevent you from properly managing your HIV and other medications.

Solutions to those barriers may include:

Obtaining HIV Medications

Obtaining your HIV, and other medications, directly from the pharmacy.

Dispensing Your Medications

Working with your pharmacy to sync the dispensing of your medications so they all arrive at the same time.

Medication Management

Pre-filling weekly pillboxes to simplify medication management.

Best Schedule for Medications

Working with you to determine the best schedule for you take your medications.

Best Tools to Assist You in Taking Medication

Development of a calendar or other tools to assist you with taking your medications.

Collaboration

Consistent collaboration with your medical providers.

Monitor Results of Bloodwork

Monitoring the results of your bloodworm to optimize your health care.

Monitor Any Side Effects

Monitoring of any contradictions, or negative side effects, possibly caused by your medications.

Working with Your Pharmacist

Working with your pharmacist on any issues that may prevent you from obtaining your medications.
